MOON JAR (HANGARI) COLLECTION

Shaped using traditional Korean techniques learned during my residency with master ceramic artist Kwak Kyungtae, these moon jars explore light — and all the light we cannot see. Each vessel is formed from recycled dark stoneware clays and finished with ash glazes, slips, and soft pearl lustres. The collection reflects a quiet balance of tradition and experimentation, where subtle surfaces hold depth, glow, and the traces of their making.

Meet Lily

Lily is a well-known professional ceramics manufacturer and artist, from Muriwai Beach on Auckland’s wild west coast. 

Lily has been a practicing artist for more than two decades, working with photography, cement and sculpture before discovering the joy and expression in getting her hands dirty and working with clay.

Lily works closely with a range of incredible restaurants and retail stores to not only supply but create bespoke custom designs.
